Mission
Vision
LaNette Hester has been singing for as long as she can remember. While she was in the Angel Church Choir at age 8, her Aunt heard her harmonizing and began teaching her 3 part harmony. LaNette’s strong desire to sing stems from her watching and admiring Diana Ross on television and decided that she wanted to sing and dress like the great Diana Ross. At age 18, she changed the “N” in her name from Lanette to LaNette because she thought it would look better in lights.

Mrs. Hester comes from a legacy of singing parents and has a life long history of singing in choirs, family concerts, and theater plays. As a young adult, LaNette was also a lead singer in the group called MVP (Most Valuable Players) where they entertained at night clubs, lounges and special events. As a recording artist she has 2 solo CD’s to her credit. LaNette’s vocal talents have also offered her opportunities to sing with the Lansing Symphony Orchestra at the Wharton Center in East Lansing, Michigan and as a guest solo artist in Nassau Bahamas for the Mother-to-Mother Conference. Her latest endeavor is recording and producing a YouTube music video, “I’m Every Woman”. But her most prized and greatest accomplishment as well as life-long dream was when she made her Carnegie Hall debut in the “Calling All Dawns” concert singing with the Distinguished Concert Singers International New York in June 2019.

Lady LaNette is married to Randall Hester. They have a blended family of six and six precious grand-children. LaNette is a firm believer that “Dreams do come true! Just believe and work hard until they manifest in your life! You are never too old to realize and enjoy your dreams.”
